Our story
Janice Louise Olach, a cherished figure in the Charlevoix and Ellsworth communities of Michigan, held the roles of a beloved mother, daughter, and wife.
Her life was a tapestry woven with the threads of being a gifted teacher, a passionate community activist, and a dedicated volunteer. Jan graduated from Charlevoix High School and Michigan State University, earning a degree in education. She served as a director at the Bergman Center in Charlevoix and later shared her knowledge as a teacher in Germany. A testament to her character, Jan's greatest strength lay in the profound care she held for others—a heart of gold that left an enduring impact on everyone she touched.
Janice Louise Olach served as an inspiration, leaving an indelible mark that will stand the test of time. A beacon for women, she instilled the belief that we are capable of achieving anything. Her guidance was a steadying force for students navigating life's challenges, redirecting them onto the right path. Jan was not just a mentor; she was a compassionate listener and a source of laughter. The mere thought of her brings forth an instant smile, a tangible reminder that our lives have been irrevocably changed for the better.
