Our goal

I am passionate about astrophotography and the night sky. I want to create a fund to provide annual scholarships for college students in the engineering or science fields who have a passion for astronomy. My hope is to raise enough money to be able to help several students each year. These students are the future of astronomy. I would like to play a small part in encouraging and rewarding students who take up this challenging career. I have created the Imm Astronomy Scholarship on bold.org and this fund will support that scholarship.

Gary's catalogues are outstanding and a real contribution to amateur astronomy. Just found the 4 most popular and came to realize why these are so useful as hard cover. This is a bit technical but you can flip through the books at the RA where you need an object and glance at images of the likely candidates... this just having all the relevant materials in "the mind's eye" at the same time is priceless when making a choice.
