Our goal

People with physical disabilities are one of the most underserved groups in our modern society. We are creating this fund to support such individuals. Some are born with them. Some develop due to an accident, surgery, injury or disease. We have personal experience in the difficulties of being disabled and feel that education is a positive way to help. Imagine if you had to go through life with a loss of function. Often a loss of respect and dignity with high levels of discrimination and misunderstanding. Education opens many doors to the future, but students with disabilities often find that they are underequipped with the necessary resources to allow them to thrive and move on to higher education. The body may not work like it should, but the mind is often their biggest strength. Offering this scholarship is a way to provide some educational support to this underserved community. Please consider how your tax-deductible donation can make a difference in the lives of those who have such challenges.
