The Francis Street Foundation, est. 2024 When I reflect on my journey and think about giving back to my community, Francis Street in New Madrid, Missouri always comes to mind. It truly took a village to shape me into the woman I am today. The support and love I received from my community has been instrumental in creating a better life for myself. The Francis Street Foundation holds a special place in my heart. It's all about honoring the incredible individuals and their families who have been there for me every step of the way. They saw my potential even before I did, and this foundation is a tribute to their unwavering belief in me. I am forever grateful to my village, and I understand the importance of paying it forward. While I know I can never fully repay those who helped me, starting this foundation is my way of making a difference and giving back to others. Through the Francis Street Foundation, I hope to inspire others to recognize the value of their own communities and the ways in which they can make a positive difference. This scholarship will be dedicated to a first generation college student at my alma mater-New Madrid County Central High School. This scholarship is intended to help a student who may be at a disadvantage compared to others, and to encourage them to continue their education. I believe that by coming together and supporting one another, we can create a stronger and more compassionate community. The Francis Street Foundation is just the beginning of my journey to make a difference, and I'm excited to see how it will continue to grow and impact lives.
