Our story
I have always loved aviation. Both of my parents were pilots, and from a young age I was exposed to aviation.
When I was a kid, I would ride my bicycle to the local airport and watch the planes. Eventually, I started washing airplanes and cutting grass at the airport to try and pay for lessons. My parents took notice of this and agreed to pay for my flight training. I soloed on my 16th birthday and had my private pilots license a few days after my 17th birthday.
Ever since then, I have been flying and have owned aircraft, obtained many ratings and certifications and work in aviation. I understand how expensive flight training is, and this is a way I can give back to future pilots.
Our goal
The goal of this scholarship fundraiser is to give back by raising $8,000 in order to fund two $4,000 scholarships for flight training. These scholarships will be aimed at supporting high school and undergraduate students who are passionate about pursuing flight training opportunities.
