Our story
Emma Jane Hastie, was a giver in the shadows, and never thought twice about helping those in need. Weather it was stopping to give kids a ride in the pouring rain, counseling families going through tough times, or championing teams of nurses to always strive for their best; she used her God given talents to ensure the well-being of everyone she encountered.
Our goal
This fund is established in the memory of our mother, who dedicated her life to the service of God, family, and the community. As a military spouse, nurse, and church member Emma Hastie always found ways to help, provide, and ensure those around her were taken care of to the best of her ability.
This scholarship fund will provide $1,000 to a student who has chosen to study, and devote their life to the service of others. Courses of studies can include but are not limited to: medicine, military studies, hospitality, ministries studies, and municipal work.
