My name is Ola McClean, and I’m a Senior Vice President, HR Manager within the banking industry, where I align human resources strategies with business goals to foster inclusive, high-performing teams. With a professional background in strategic consulting, talent management, change leadership, and data-driven decision-making, I am deeply committed to creating opportunities for emerging leaders. In partnership with Bold.org, I founded the Girls Like Me Scholarship Fund in January 2021, a scholarship grounded in empowerment, inclusion, and access to opportunity. Our mission is to provide financial support and encouragement to students identifying as young women in North Carolina, as they pursue higher education and strive to realize their fullest potential. The Girls Like Me Scholarship Fund was established to help increase representation in the fields of Human Resources, Psychology, and Sociology, especially among those who are underrepresented due to culture or ability.
