My name is Ola McClean and I’m a first-generation Nigerian-American. I've partnered with a Bold.org to create the Girls Like Me Scholarship Fund. My mission is to financially assist and empower young minority women in North Carolina to experience their unlimited potential through collegiate level education. The Girls Like Me Scholarship Fund was established to encourage more minority women to enter the field of Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration and Human Resources. Our goal is to improve female, minority representation within this specific industry by lowering the financial barriers typically encountered by promising, minority students. Since January 2021, we’ve raised enough money to award several students over the years with $750 toward their college tuition and/or books. Please INVEST in your community and SPREAD the word.....
