Dear Jean Ramirez Scholarship Board: I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to you for choosing me as a recipient of the Jean Ramirez Scholarship. I was very worried about paying for college and the pressure it would put on my dad (as he has to pay for two kids) before I received scholarship and I could not be more thrilled. I now can worry a bit less and get one step closer to achieving my academic goals. I plan on working part time while pursuing my academics and career to help my dad as much as I can. Your generosity has not only helped my family and I financially but also motivated me to work harder and strive for excellence in all aspects of my academic journey. It serves as a reminder that there are kind-hearted individuals like you who believe in the potential of students like me and are willing to invest in our futures. In the future, I aspire to give back to the community and support aspiring students, just as you have done for me. Your act of kindness has inspired me to be more involved in charitable activities and make a positive impact on the lives of others. I also plan on following in my mom's footsteps and major in HR Management then go straight into the workforce upon graduation. Thank you again for your very important financial assistance. Sincerely, Abby W.

Dear JR98 Inc, Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I am honored to be named a finalist for the Jean Ramirez Scholarship. I, like Anthony, lost my brother. My brother Joey and I were only 15 months apart. I am younger, and until Joey’s passing, I have never known a life without my brother. The journey is a difficult one. Thank you for making me feel seen. I will now keep Jean in my heart also as I always carry Joey in my heart. Sincerely, Matt Patterson
