Ella Boehme

Dear Scholarship Donor, Thank you so much for your support in my education and future career! I am a STEM student with a focus on botany, and specifically how the plant sciences can be a benefit to how humans coexist with nature. Your topic was especially interesting to me, as I work with native plants in California and floodplain management is specifically relevant to my work. Many native plants in our area are adapted to prevent erosion and flooding, utilizing this resources is something I hope to see in the future. This scholarship and the support that comes with it is infinitely valuable to my education, and to a career that I hope will contribute positive change to the world.
